I work to create a safe and supportive environment for you to explore your life. The work can be hard, and I admire the courage and resilience I see in my clients. I want to help you gain a meaningful relationship with yourself, and a sense of freedom from the worries and challenging circumstances of your life.

I completed my doctorate and masters degrees at Harvard University while doing intensive clinical rotations at McLean Hospital. I was mentored by Harvard Medical School faculty, and continue collaborations with Harvard University and the University of Minnesota. I regularly consult with other specialists to ensure that I am providing scientifically-proven approaches.

During my time at McLean Hospital, I worked in the Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Institute where I provided exposure and response prevention therapy to in-patient residents. I then joined the Gunderson Residence where I provided a number of empirically supported treatments for individuals diagnosed with a personality disorder. Following that, I completed my internship at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System where I received advanced training in psychological assessment, treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder and trauma, and was a team member on a full-model dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) team. I then joined the Chicago DBT Institute where I provided full-model DBT as a part of a board certified outpatient DBT facility. My extensive training in residential and outpatient settings has uniquely qualified me to provide you with integrated treatments that have been proven to work.

I have authored several papers in the leading journals in psychiatry and psychology. I was a trainee in the Massachusetts General Hospital Advanced Multimodal Neuroimaging Program and was named a Sackler Scholar in Psychobiology at Harvard University. I bring this scientific training to our clinical work with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
