I have a friend or family member who is struggling, what should I do?
Let them know that you love them and that you care.
Let them know that treatment works.
Let them know they are not alone, 1 in 5 people currently have a mental health challenge.
Seek your own support from friends, family, and trusted people in your life.
Get treatment for yourself. Treatment can help with setting boundaries, coping with stress, and feeling less anxious. This puts you in the position to help your loved one. I would be happy to speak with you about individual therapy.
If your loved one is in immediate danger, please call 911 or take them to your local emergency room.
Will you speak with me if I am interested in therapy for a friend or family member?
To determine fit, it is generally more effective if I speak directly with your loved one.
